Location: Badlands → Spearfish → Black Hills Roubaix

Overall, This Campground Was: Great (Clean - Dusty)

Our favorite thing to do at this campground was:

Slide down the reservoir spillway ramp.

One thing we'll always remember about this trip was:

The crawdad & jumping fish while playing on the spillway.

If we visited here again, we would be sure to:

Have a day to play at reservoir (small).

Trip Details

Day before - started at Spearfish & drove down. Stopped at a few waterfalls, ended at Roughlock Falls to play and have dinner. Pathways along the river. Lookouts. Bridge, play in (cold) water. Beautiful area. Easy skillet dinner.

On the Menu (Best camping recipe, favorite ice cream shop, etc.)

• Pasta & Alfredo sauce (okay)

• Chix skillet stirfry + rice

Started trip in Badlands N.P. Best area, would like to spend the night here. Play similar to Goblin Valley. HOT! Some great family hikes & trails. Notch Trail (cool ladder). Saw big horned sheep up close.
